With the "mouse" you aim at the incoming enemies and destroy them with your firepower. Rotate with "W,A,S,D" because the opponents are, unfortunately, on all sides. You can pause with "ESC". After the rounds you can spend your points for upgrades. You can fire a rocket with the "space bar" or use "E" to trigger an EMP. You can also ignite a bomb with "Q".
