Description :
Blocks 2001 is all about helping the block collect all diamonds in each level and achieve an high score, just like its previous versions. This may sound simple, but it is not! Because there are lots of little "nasty thhings" that will complicate this task. The best new feature is that 3D graphics (DirectX 8.1) are being used for the first time, but more on that later. Some new gameplay elements have also been added: moving platforms would carry you over the bottomless gorges, the snow ball gun (sometimes aiming too well), trampolines and switches, which can be set in motion when complex processes are needed.
As usual, you play a smiley! And guess what.. you can now jump ,accompanied by a funny tone! You also have an energy bar, because there are many situations where it can be affected (eg, too high a fall).
