Dogfight is originally a two-player game which is all about flying and shooting the enemy without being shot at. But over time, the game has undergone many changes like blimps, anti-aircraft guns, buildings, etc... And you can now play against the computer.
The original game is based on an eponymous Amiga game with a similar plot and equivalent graphics. But it had a couple of drawbacks: only two planes were available, targets were difficult to shoot, no AI support and a flat landscape.
Dogfight is an action game with elements added to increase the complexity. If you want to play the game only once, you will have to limit it to aircraft generations 1 and 2. If you think you can handle it, you can play the "dare" mode with homing missiles.
