Racing games seem to be very popular among open source programmers. Speed Dreams is a classic racing game. You drive your TORCS through some courses and try to get through the goal in the first palce. There are various types of races and different camera angles in these race modes. Some cars have a strange handling. The controls are very funny, because it uses the "mouse" for direction which is a real challenge, moreover, the load times are very high, but the "mouse" control makes it crazily fun.
